FRAUDULENT AND CORRUPTED 'SCRIPTURES'

All such writings are modern pious frauds, and should be avoided like

sweet-tasting poison. Such literatures can often be exposed by educated

non-academics, and serious scholars usually don't even bother with them. For

"Essene Nazorean Church of Mt. Carmel". Both these groups seem to be filled

with nice well meaning people, but I am concerned. These organizations use a

text entitled "The Gospel of the Holy Twelve" which they claim is the

'original' gospel before it was divided into the four we have today. I've

examined this document and to my astonishment approximately 75% of it has been

copied word for word from the King James Version of the Bible, in particular

the Gospels of Matthew, Luke and John. The Essene Churches claim that this

"gospel" was discovered in a Buddhist Monestary in Tibet (late 1800's) in the

original tongue of Jesus -Aramaic- by a priest of the Church of England - a

Reverend Ousley. If this is the case why was the King James Version of the

Bible copied verbatim in most of it? The New Testament was written originally

in Greek, not Aramaic. It is inconceivable to think that the evangelists copied

a single Aramaic text into the Greek tongue and then divided it by four with

later embellishments. The Bible was translated into Latin and then into the

King James' English. If Ousley's text is the original and he translated it

directly from Aramaic, why does it match the King James Bible exactly? Wouldn't

he have simply written the text in English from Aramaic as it stood and

completely bypass the King James Bible in the translation? I also have some

other major concerns over their beliefs in general if you would care to open up

a dialogue. I've attached a portion of the Ousley Text for your review. I've

color coded the original Holy Bible which in my opinion Ousley seems to have

'cut up' and pasted together to form his new version. I am curious to know your

Biblical textual scholar can recognized that Ousely's "gospel" is largely

plagiarized from or inspired by the Protestant King James Version, as are the

Book of Mormon, and other 19th century Protestant-related Masonic, Rosicrucian

and other esoteric pious fraudulent 'scriptures'. It is the piety, idealism

and 'romance' that attracts people to these supposedly unifying syncretistic

esoteric 'wisdom' literatures. However the fact is that this genre of

literature is all bogus. The occult orders have produced numerous such

fraudulent 'ancient' or 'divinely revealed' pseudo-scriptures like the

"Teachings of the Ancient Masters of the East", The "Aquarian Gospel of Jesus

the Christ", The "Essene Gospel of Peace", H.P. Blavatsky's concocted "Stanzas

of Dzyan", The "Urantia Book", the books of the fictitious Tibetan master

Lobsang Rampa, the "Course in Miracles", Alice Bailey's and Elizabeth Clare

Prophet's so-called 'channeled' "ascended masters" writings ad nauseam. None of

these are authentic. The "Seth Speaks" and Cayce "Sleeping Prophet" series are

all more of the same. If one does a theological analysis of this class of

literatures, it can be observed that impersonalism, polytheism and pantheism

are common to them, while existence of the Transcendent Supreme Personality of

Godhead is usually overtly or subtly denied.

 

In contrast Catholicism and our Vaishnava Tradition were-and-are real ancient

devotional traditions, with real scriptures and real ancient flesh-and-blood

gurus who worshiped a real LIVING PERSONAL GOD. If you study the core teachings

of the occult or esoteric traditions, which produce these pseudo-scriptures from

their fictitious ancient wisdom traditions and imaginary masters, you will most

often find them to be IMPERSONAL and VOIDIST. Mayavadi (Impersonal) Occultism

has always existed as a socio-religious parasite feeding off of 'Revelatory'

(inspired) Theistic Civilizations. Mayavada does this by appropriating

(stealing) from the theistic sources (like real scriptures) of the authentic

traditions, to create its own de-personalized version. Like a virus using its

host cell's DNA parasitically to replicate itself, the impersonalist traditions

use the concepts, language and symbols, rites, arts etc. of the theistic

traditions to destroy Theism and to seduce-away persons marginally within the

Bhakti Traditions.

opportunity to give some answer to your good questions. In summary, please

beware of concocted modern 'ancient' New Age or Esoteric so-called

'scriptures'. They may seem sweet, but they are laced with poisonous untruths.

Some of these are easy to detect, but other RECENT FICTIONAL scriptures may be

difficult to detect unless one is an expert historian, textual scholar or

spiritual pathologist. It is better to be safe than sorry. So, always

"consider the source" and do an historical assessment before you accept

anything as authoritative. Find out where a text is 'coming from' before you

accept what it has to say as authentically ancient and divinely revealed!

THIS RULE APPLIES TO CORRUPTED OR REDACTED EDITIONS OF OTHERWISE AUTHENTIC

TEXTS AS WELL. For example there are countless MAYAVADI EDITIONS OF THE

BHAGAVAD-GITA AVAILABLE. THE THEOSOPHICAL SOCIETY USED AND USES THE SRIMAD

BHAGAVATAM TO PROMOTE ADVAITA VEDANTA IMPERSONALISM. THE MAHA BHAVISHYA PURANA

HAS HAD MODERN ADDITIONS MADE TO IT IN SANSKRITIZED BIBLICAL LANGUAGE, AND THE

RAMAYANA HAS BEEN REINTERPRETED AS A WHITE ARYAN VERSUS BLACK DRAVIDIAN RACE

WAR.
