April 14, a forty old security guard was killed in a parcel bomb explosion at

V.N. Jewellers, a shop on prime location in Mumbai's Linking Road. According to

the Times of India, the owner Vasantbhai Salla had received several extortion

threats from Chhota Shakeel, Karachi based don. The latest threat came with the

parcel in the form of a note, demanding Rs 6 lakhs. Do not be suprised if the

shop owner Vasantbhai sells his shop to a front man of the Don.

 

1. Ghatkopar on 2/12/02 2 killed, Gujarati Hindu dominated area.

2. McDonalds inside Mumbai Central Station on 6/12/02 25 injured neutral area.

3. VileParle East market on 28/1/03 30 injured, Gujarati and Mahashtrian Hindu dominated area.

4. Mulund train blast on 13/3/ app 12 killed, 25 injured, Gujarati Hindu dominated area.

5. Linking Road Blast 14/4/03 - 1 killed, Hindu owner under extortion threats from Karachi based don

 

In the last three years the state of Maharashtra witnessed riots in Pune,

Nandurbhar, Malegaon, Jalgaon, Sholapur, Kalyan, Badlapur, Amravati & Bhiwandi

as late as Feb 03. It is the Hindu who was killed or burnt alive at the

receiving end.
