SINDH and ISLAM

The elders in many cultures and tribes agree for some rules and regulations for

their security and smooth livings. All the residents agree and accept these

rules. Such rules make their lives easy going with the confirmed punishments

without any discrimination. Similarly, Sindh was a state so its elders also

prepared some rules for the residents after Islamic invasion. For the

complicated decisions there are Jirgas, (still existing and working

successfully under their elders) while some rules are commonly decided for the

residents. Of course some rules are very tough, but the decision must go on

without any compromise. Such decisions are understood and the objection about

them is valueless. Being a Muslim we are the believer of Allah Almighty, our

Holy Prophet Mohammad SA (peace be upon Him) and the Holy Quran. It is our

faith that whatever is written in HQ is the order and decision for us from

Allah and the same had been confirmed by our Holy Prophet SA P.B.U.H. There is

no doubt, we Muslims believed in it and we follow these rules. For example

rules for the marriage and divorce, killer, theft, illegal relations between

males and females and so on. These rules are very hard to follow during this

21st century and in this Modern age, but these rules are the essence and the

soul of Islam and therefore being a Muslim we are incomplete without them.

When the state of Sindh was invaded by Mohammad Bin Qasim, people were

introduced Islam as a GREAT religion. Muslims were free to pray, while all the

people were provided peace and justice irrespective to their religion in Sindh.

It was the first time when people come to know more about Islamic way of life

and trade principles. The Islamic way of life, trade, culture, behavior, self-

respect and their rule with Justice impressed the locals and attracted many

non-Muslims of that time, which resulted many people accepted Islam as their

religion.

As Sindh and Sindhis were 1st benefited by Islam, so religion left great and

unchangeable impressions therefore the Sindhi are still following those rules,

which were adopted by their GRANDPARENTS by accepting Islam as their religion.

It is on record that SINDH is the BAB-AL-ISLAM. I will not hesitate to write

and say that Sindhi people are still strict and following the rules of ISLAM.

One of the rules is the honor killing. This honor killing is called as

Kora-Kari in Sindh. This law is Islamic Law and is followed in Baluhistan, NWFP

and some parts of Punjab also.

Of course in Sindh, now-a-days the way people are deciding to punish the

involved pair is not correct. We must condemn the system, instead of making

negative criticism. Mohajirs and illegal immigrants will not accept such

relations as sin, but Islamic nations in Pakistan like: Sindhi, Balochi, Pusto,

Siraiki and Punjabi culture recognizes as a SIN. We must request our elders that

they should not allow innocent people’s murder in the name of Kara-Kari

without proper investigations and witnesses and this should be avoided. We

Sindhis have a culture, family and a religious background therefore we have our

roots in Pakistan while Mohajirs and illegal immigrants have nothing except

corruption, greed and spoiling the facts in Pakistan, so they will exploit and

make negative propaganda. But we must think before reaching any decision, by

consulting with the teachings of Quran and Sunah involving our elders. ISLAM

strictly instructs the females to cover her face and body parts which attracts

the men. Hijab is not only compulsory for females but also for the males in

Islam. These Islamic values are not practiced within Mohajirs and illegal

immigrant community.

My dear readers! We should not forget that we are Muslims and the social system

of ISLAM is the most successful system of the world. Do not forget that our

HOLY PROFET MOHAMMAD SA (peace be upon him) has proved hundreds of years ago.

Islam teaches unity and discipline and now-a-days we SINDHIS need unity and

discipline. The social system of Islam and the punishments according to Quran

and Sunah are the essence and soul of Islam.

In my messages, I am always highlighting for the Sindhis to get united against

EVIL forces, i.e. Mohajirs, dictators and illegal immigrants who are working

against Sindh and Pakistan. We Sindhis are talented people and these forces are

afraid of our Sindhi unity, leadership and our Islamic democratic values, so

they will misguide and exploit our precious Islamic culture.

This is the time that Sindhis should realize their duties and work sincerely for

the Sindhi unity and Sindhi cause.

We should not forget the role of present Sindh Government. They are encouraging

and supporting anti-Sindhi forces against Sindhis.

We should get all the Pakistanis united against the Mohajirs and illegal forces

who have decided to harm Pakistan once again. At the end I will pray to Allah

almighty to give us power to get united against the evil forces of Sindh and

Pakistan, Ameen.
