had leaked. Over 40tonnes of highly poisonous methylisocyanate gas leaked out

of the pesticidefactory of Union Carbide in Bhopal.Death Toll: Thousands died

in the immediate aftermath. At least10, 000 havedied in the years that have

passed, and 10 more are dying every month due toexposure-related diseases-----
