Some of the most adventurous days of my bachleor life were the seven days that I

spent at the skiing resort, Auli. By bus it is about a eight hour (car shorter)

drive from Rishikesh enroute to Badrinath. You get off at Joshimath and then

take a ropeway to Auli.

(certificate) Courses. Program for 2003-04 is as follows. 7 day course starts

on Jan - 6, 13, 22, 29, Feb - 6,13,22, 29 March - 9, 17,24. 14 day course

starts on Jan - 6,22, Feb - 6,22, March 9. Best time to visit is Jan/February.

Charges in category General is Rs 4400/ for 7 days, 7400/ for 14 days. Students

get a discount of Rs 400 & 170/ respectively. GMVN provide you with skiing

equipment & a qualified trainer.
