I am investigating this in a private capacity. (I am a mathematical statistician with over 20 years academic and industry experience in the U.S.A preliminary investigations suggest that almost no field work was done. The input, especially in rural areas, seems to have come from Christian NGOs, which are massively organized for the elections. (Remember Gujarat?) This is likely to be repeated in Tamil Nadu (next phase), where these groups are especially strong, and hate Jayalalithaa. Expect them to come out with very rosy "poll results" for the DMK combine. Let us not jump the gun and engage in recriminations, especially against Vajpayee and the Government.. Let us wait until May 13 for the results to be out. I am making no predictions, but only saying that these polls are technically unsound, even nonsensical. Something on this scale did not happen overnight. It had a lotplanning behind it. If there is anything that I can fault the Government for, it is for not anticipating that a conspiracy like thing using "exit poll" as a front would be used to destabilize the Government. Christian organizations including foreign funded NGOs have invested a lot in Sonia and the Congress. They will not give up without a fight. I suggest that Hindu organizations (like the RSS and VHP) become more sophisticated and get involved in intelligence gathering about these foreign funded, especially Christian organizations. We need to go beyond Rath Yatras and rabble-rousing speeches. Recruit some retired commandos and intelligence officers and penetrate these organizations. I feel that that these Christian organizations working in the guise of social service pose as great a danger as the Jihadi outfits. They have penetrated the media and no doubt the so-called polling organizations. This is part of the Opus Dei (Vatican Mafia) agenda.
