Guest guest
FORMER UNION LABOUR MINISTER SHRI SAHEB SING VERMA VISITS THE CHILDREN OF “JEEVAN PRABHAT” Former Union Labour Minister Shri Saheb Sing Verma visited the children of "Jeevan Prabhat" on June 21, 2004. He was on a visit to Dudhai the village which he has rebuilt after the devastating earthquake of 26th January 2001. He said that it was his long pending desire to meet the children but being unable to find time from his official responsibilities he had found it difficult to meet them. Now that he is free from his official duties and as he was on a visit to Kutch so he found time from his schedule and came all the way to Gandhidham to meet the children. He also visited the "Jeevan Prabhat" construction site. As is the tradition Shri Saheb Sing Verma was welcomed at the gates with a tilak on his forehead by the daughters of "Jeevan Prabhat". He then took a round of the campus and he said that he was astonished that the place was neat and clean just like a home. He was very pleased when he was informed that here we treat the children like our own children and that we accept only new clothes for them and we never make them wear old clothes and we do not accept left over food for them. He was also happy to note that here the children are admitted without any distinction of Caste and Creed and totally free of cost. He blessed the children and asked them to study and bring laurels to the name of Arya Samaj.
