SAY NO TO DRUGS

 

Today is the World Anti-Narcotics Day and we at Arya Samaj Gandhidham ask all of

you to not only refrain from taking Drugs but to also counsel others from using

them.

 

DRUGS ARE SLOW POISION:

FIRST THEY MAKE YOU HAPPY

THEN THEY MAKE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY SAD

 

Every year 3 million young people (ages 10-14) try illegal drugs for the first

time. We have all got to joins hands and stop these youngsters from taking the

first step towards a slow and painful death. As responsible parents let us give

them a secure feeling at home. We should take more interests in their activities

and listen to their problems and help them in solving them.

 

Once a person starts taking drugs then he becomes the slave of that drug. The

person will do anything for getting narcotics; he will steal, says lies, or

even do unpatriotic acts just to fulfill his desire for drugs.

 

When the intoxicant mixes with the blood it gives a new feeling, the feeling of

being in heaven, the persons forgets everything and everybody, even his

mannerisms, and what is good & bad, to the extent that he even starts illegal

activities. All this happiness is short lived after some time the persons

health starts deteriorating he slowly inches towards a painful death. There is

no turning back.

 

In a short time we at Arya Samaj Gandhidham are going to start a drug

de-addiction centre. The children of "Jeevan Prabhat" are also being trained to

fight drug abuse and go out into the society and help people to refrain from

taking drugs.

 

Come let’s all join hands today and take a vow to make this beautiful world of ours drugs free.
