Guest guest
Hi, All this is fine. But for how long hindus will be a majority in India. The muslims and christians will be a majority by 2050.The latest census figures show muslim growth at 36%.Whenever muslims become a majority they fight for a separate state, pakistan, chechnya etc are examples. vediculture, Vrn Parker <vrnparker> wrote: > > VFA-members > > "alphansojohn" <alphanso@h...> > > Tue, 07 Sep 2004 17:14:15 -0000 > > [VFA-members] Interesting fact on India / > > Sanskrit > > > > Sanskrit is the mother of all the European > > languages. Guest guest
"Abhijit Phadnis" Wed, 8 Sep 2004 12:52:25 +0530RE: [VFA-members] Interesting fact on India / SanskritI am not an expert & I am sure there would be more reasons to it but two keyreasons that come to my mind are:a. It is truly phonetic. With audio techniques being more used, itwould make it possible for oral instructions.b. The order of the words in a sentence does not matter due to theprecise expression of the word with appropriate 'Vibhakti' which itselfhints the action. For example, Ramha Ravanam Hanti (Rama kills Ravana) wouldmean the same even if expressed as Hanti Ravanam Ramha or Ravanam RamhaHanti which would not be the case in most other languages.Abhijit Phadnisuniversalyoga [universalyoga (AT) netzero (DOT) net] Wednesday, September 08, 2004 12:42 AMVFA-membersSubject: RE: [VFA-members] Interesting fact on India / SanskritI have often heard of references to Sanskrit and its suitability to aprogramming, but I have not heard anyone explain why in detail.Possibly one of our readers could embellish this subject.Harinam Baba Prem-----Original Message-----alphansojohn [alphanso (AT) hotmail (DOT) com] Tuesday, September 07, 2004 12:14 PMVFA-membersSubject: [VFA-members] Interesting fact on India / SanskritSanskrit is the mother of all the European languages. Sanskrit is the most suitable language for computer software - a report in Forbes magazine, July 1987.India is the world's largest, oldest, continuous civilization. The four religions born in India, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism, are followed by 25% of the world's population.Varanasi, also known as Benares, was called "the ancient city" when Lord Buddha visited it in 500 B.C.E, and is the oldest, continuously inhabited city in the world today?India never invaded any country in her last 10000 years of history.India invented the Number System.
