It's a movement of the vrajawasis with the sole objective of restoring and preserving the pristine glory of this cherished land which had the fortune to witness the avatar and leelas of Lord Krishna. The travesty of the times has been that while Lord Krishna, the cowherd boy, the bhagwaan, the ishwar, the propounder of Gita is worshipped, revered and prayed all over the world but the very place where he performed all his past times, His holy dham is getting utterly neglected. Isn't it a part of our devotional service to render service to the holy dham so that its physical form also gets uplifted and rejenuvated? Devotion to Krishna need to be reflected in a devotion to all things associated with him. The exalted Vrajawasis, anything which had even remote association with Krishna is worth conserving, preserving and worship. For them, the natural places, the original leelasthalis - the kundas (ponds), the vanas (forests), the parvatas (hills), yamunaji and hundreds of ghats on her banks are more sacred, more auspicious then any temple or ashram per se. For them the highest form of devotion, bhakti is sewa (service) of the holy dham. Today, the holy vraja is under immense threat. In fact, thousands of original leelasthalis have disappeared, hundreds are disappearing over the time. What would devotion to Krishna mean, if the entire Vraja, the Vraja culture would get extinct? This is a question which we all Krishna Bhaktas should ponder over on this occasion of Janamashtami. The vrajawasis have given their entire energies and resources for the vraja. A huge movement is ensuing in Vraja , the "VRAJA VAIBHAV PUNARSTHAPAN MOVEMENT". Spearheaded by Poojya Sri Ramesh Baba of Maan Mandir, Gahvarvan, Barsana, a huge resurgence in the entire land of vraja is taking place. Hundreds of kundas are getting renovated and resurrected, the lost and lesser known leelasthalis are being brought to light. Movements are going on to preserve the forests of vraja which are having a constant threat from forest mafias. Battles are going on to protect the hillocks of Vraja, which are being blown apart by illegal miners. A massive undertaking to dig up Yamuna ji from Panipat onwards is on the fringe. The annual 40 day Sri Radha Rani Vraja Yatra is instigating thunders of awakening amidst the vrajawasis - the real inheritors of the Krishna Prema. Vraja Vaibhav Punarsthapan movement is an ambitious and revolutionary undertaking. It is blowing apart the hypocrisy and hollowness of a large number of contemporary Bhagwatacharyas, Matha dheeshas, Gosains etc etc. The movement is against all those who are interested only in filling up their coffers and building up huge 5-star styled ashrams and temples in vraja spending crores, while neglecting the original leelasthalis of the lord. The movement criticizes in the bitterest words those who have transformed religion into a business. There is a huge awakening all over the vraja. Thousands are getting connected and convinced about the aims and objectives of the movement. The preservation and protection of the leelasthalis has to be done on a war footing. If the leelasthalis would disappear, where would remain Krishna bhakti, where we could find Krishna prema. The Vraja Vaibhav Punarsthapan Movement calls upon a wider collaboration of all the leading dharmacharyas, Bhagwatacharyas, matha dheeshas etc to formulate a "Vraja Vaibhav Punarsthapan Samiti" forgetting all their trivial differences over the numerous worship methods and shedding off their selfish interests. The movement calls upon a time bound moratorium on all the new construction projects to be undertaken in vraja. All the donations and contributions coming in should be diverted for the preservation of the thousands of kundas and renovation of hundreds of old temples. This would call for the co-operation of one and the all. All the Krishna Kathas be focussed on the dismal state of the holy dham and should become instrumental in creating wider awakening amidst the Krishna Bhaktas all over the world. Let all the preaching efforts be oriented towards the service of the holy dham. The movement calls upon all the Krishna bhaktas to contribute to this holy cause by whatever means they can. Those who are affluent can undertake a couple of kundas for renovation under their direct supervision. Those who have time can spread the word around. Those who are talented can help in setting up a detailed and well researched resource bases on vraja over the web. A lot of studies have to be undertaken, a wider survey of the entire vraja bhoomi needs to be done to find out and document the exact locations of the various leelasthalis, their current state, their dimensions. Everything is possible even in this age of Kaliyuga. The Kaliyuga resides in all our minds, where we have reduced ourselves to mere our ashram boundaries or our religious sampradayas. We have to come out of this clout and think in a broader fashion. Krishna prema doesn't enter into shallow pots, we all have to become oceans. Forgetting all our differences, instilling a cumulative spirit to preserve and protect the vraja dham by all means, by channelising all available resource for the service of the dham is the only refuge out. The Vraja Vaibhav Punarsthapan movement is doing all this. The winds of reform and renaissance have started flowing all over vraja and they are getting stronger by the day. In this massive yagna, in this mass scale Krishna upasana every Krishna bhakti has a role. This movement is wiping out all the adharmic forces, it is reuniting all the vrajawasis, is instilling a spirit of total mobilization for the restoration of vraja. Come on !! devotees of the Lord. Take your role in this mega project. Get inspired from your own Lord, whom you pray day in and day out. If you are not a part of the solution, you definitely are strengthening the problem. Any passivity on the part of Krishna bhaktas would be nothing but hypocrisy. The places of our Lord's past times are getting destructed, they are getting destroyed, they are over flooded with filth. Can we tolerate this? A mass scale "Cheera Harana" of the entire Vraja is happening. The Vraja Bhoomi is weeping and wailing like Draupadi !! Hundreds of Dushasanas are trying to disrobe her. Either we are Duryodhanas, Karnas or Dushasanas who were asuras by their very nature and are the first candidates to be destructed, or we are Bhishma Pitamahas, Kripacharyas, Dronocharyas who are not speaking up not stirring up the entire society even after having so much of power and resourcefulness, because of our vested interests, self centeredness. How many of us are Viduras and Vikarnas who are at least speaking out against the ongoing adharma ? And how many of us are really spirited to plunge into the war, plunge into action to safeguard the honour of our Vraja bhoomi ? Krishna would appear, he would take his incarnation to empower us all if we just show our sincerity towards this bigger cause. He would definitely come to safeguard His beloved Draupadi. But for this to happen, some viduras several vikarnas have to come up. Till the time we are silent over the disrobing of Vrajabhoomi, He will be silent. He will come once again to uplift the Giri Goverdhan on his smallest finger to safeguard vraja from selfish and corrupt Indras, but then we would have to take an initiative just to show our sincerity, our concern , our devotion towards him. We would have to put our lathis under this massive project, this movement requires divine intervention and our mortal energies are incompatible to meet its demands. But still, we have to do our karma. We can't shed off our responsibilities, we can run away from this ensuing kurukshetra on some pretext or the other. On this very occasion of Janamashtami , let us all take a resolve, let us all get spirited, let us all make it our mission of our lives to give our whole hearted support and contribution to the VRAJA VAIBHAV PUNARSTHAPAN MOVEMENT. The renaissance of Vraja would illumine the entire world. Let us all plunge into this fierce Mahabharata taking the sides of Pandavas - the side of Dharma and protect the honour of Draupadi, our beloved vraja bhoomi. Krishna Bhaktas of the entire world !! come on . Your Lord is demanding your services. Come on and take a dip in this massive bhagirathi of Vraja Vaibhav Punarsthapan and get rid off of all your sins and become a real vrajawasi.
