Jaya Sriman Narayana

My daughter,son and wife join me in praying to Lord Sriman Narayana to

enlighten us and allow us to experience the same level or even more

ecstacy which our Great Alwazhars,Achariyas experienced in praising the

Glory of Lord Narayana with Periapirattiar.It is difficult to fathom what

these Noble souls have left behind for maanidars like us.We are in the

periphery of enjoing thier sacred texts and even if we take hundred births

still we will not be able to fully understand .More than the Alwazhars ,

Acharyas like Bhattar,Nanjeear,

Nammpillai,Periavachanpillai,Vadakkuthiruveedipillai and others have

written commentaries and treatise on the works of Alwazhars and our

salutations to them.Without their Eedu and Vyakyanam it would have been

difficult to entrench ourselves in ecstacy.

There can be only one Darsanam and it can be only that of Emperumanar and

all of us should be fortunate enough to be called Ramanuja Dasan /Ramanuja

Dasi.

Let us resolve we dedicate our life in spreading the message of

Jagathacharian.

 

I have few suggestions for consideration.

1) I am not sure whether It is late in the date to suggest the name of the

site.Otherwise we would have loved to have the site named as Emperumanar

Darsanam.

2)The site should have few , standard , daily information on the following

which other sites dont have as at present

a)Extract from the Panchakkam. for next one week.All of us normally follow

the Peria Kiol Panchakkam and it should be available with the moderator as

well

b)Peria Kiol ,Swami Parthasarathy Koil and few other important Koils

have published calender indicating the Urchavams of the temple

concerned.They also indicate the Thirunakshatram of Alwazhars and Acharyas

as well.Where ever we are ,it would remind us to celebrate these days.

c)Whenever the Thirunakshthram of any Alwazhars or Acharyas fall, an

article on them should be posted in the mail

d)A seperate question Answer part where a panel of experts will answer

the Question .It is possible it may take few days to get the response but

it will be still better rather than posting personal knowledge and thereby

ending into controversies

e)Acharya Purushas like Swami Anangrachariar have written volumes of

sacred ,enlightening,enjoyable,easy to understand texts,essays etc.Daily we

can reproduce a portion of this great treasure.

f)This Swamy has consolidated and documented with reagrd to our

Sampradhayam and extract reflecting the correct status of different Divya

Desams and practices to be followed therein,may be posted daily.

 

Only a limited space should be allowed for exchange of views etc which

according to me should be totally avoided if possible.

 

If I am not exceeding my views,I may be permitted that Sh T.S.Sundararajan

Swamy of Srirangam may be requested to format and structure this site and

help in moderating it also .

 

This site should not be an ordinary site for exchange of free thoughts but

where all would love to refer to for authenticated information-.

 

Tail piece; Yesterday after a long time I was fortunate to listen to Swami

Vellukdi Krishnans upanyasam on Ramanuja Nootrandadi..One message which

is still ringing is his repeated advice that we should follow what our

Poorvachariargal have told us.He said the upanyasam which he is delivering

is also based on what Poorvachariargal have told and every time he will

explain in the same way as told .This would ensure personal opinions do find

a way in the upanyasams.

 

Lesson to remeber;When we talk on our scriptrure,sampradhayam .... please

base it on what our Poorvachariargal have told us.Donot replace it with

your own surmises .
