Guest guest
sri: Adiyen is presenting at the Acharya Vaibhavam Conference at Buffalo on Periya Jeeyar. Can someone please reposnd on these two doubts: 1. Why/ How is "Srisailesa Daya Patram" taniyan recognised as a mantram (dwayam)? 2. Also on why is Adisesha as a seat for Jeeyar? (Is it because LORD gave his seart to His Acharyan & HE is the Avathara of Adisesha) If any of you can add to the following points or if there are any in consistencies please correct adiyEn. Thanks in advance (thanks to Sri U.Ve Velukkudi swamigal for error corrections and guidance in the Play) Here is adiyEn Presentation at the Buffalo, NY Acharya Vaibhavam Conference: ======================================================== SriSailesa Daya Patram - Play 10 Minutes: How Lord Ranganatha decides to have the Avathara of Adisesha, as "Poiyilatha ManavalaMamunigal". Blesses Him with the ocean of knowledge, devotion and all the ideal Acharya Gunas. So he can take Manavala Mamunigal as the the Ideal Acharyan and learn Thiruvaimozhi Vyakhyanam from HIM and offers him Acharyan Sambhavana. Points Covered in the Play: => The only Acharya who had the unique opportunity of delivering dravida veda vyakhyanam before Ranganatha and samskrita vedanta vyakhyanam before Ramanuja. Hence ubhayavedantacarya. => Recognised by perumal as His Acharyan. (Explanations) => Avatara of Adisesah and Swami Ramanuja. => "Srisailesa Daya Patram" taniyan recognised as a mantram (dwayam), and the only slokam submitted by Lord Ranganatha Himself. And the command by Lord to Chant this Tanian. Points Covered in the Talk: (10 Minutes). ========================================== Contributions to Temple Management. Revival of SriVaishnavism. His Vyakyana works & His Mula Works. "Munnor Mozhinda Murai Tappal Kettu", "Oran Vazhiyai Upadesam". Practical Universal Applicability of HIS message and works today. (10 Mins) ================== Q & A : 5 Minutes. ================== The play and talk are based on Guruparampara & Varavamuni Prabhavam. (Accepted as documented History) Exception: The Practical Universal Applicabilty is based on what we see today, hence cannot be based on any GuruPrampara etc. ===============Final Prayer and then Statement at the Conference ====== Please make Periya Jeeyar and His tanian a part of your life, as commanded by the Lord himself. Surrender to Periya Jeeyar (At this point adiyEn is distributing Free Posters of periya Jeeyar) and place this poster in your home/ Office any place where you can offer your prayers daily (I have him at Home and in the Office) See the difference in your attitude towards everything in life. (With the new attitude towards everyone around you, the world will change its attitude towards you as well) - Jeeyar ThiruvadigalE saranam ========================================================================== a:zhwa:r emberuma:na:r Jeeyar thiruvadigale: saranam adiye:n ra:ma:nuja da:san Mukundan Vankipuram Pattangi http://www.radioramanuja.com
Guest guest
Dear Sri.Mukundan Pattangi: Pranams! Adiyen has very limited knowledge, still attempt to give a possibly correct answer to your first question. It is recognized as Mantram because of the following logic: Any text can be quoted as mantra when it can be a solution for all the problems(not in materialistic sense, even above that). In that sense if we look at the scriptures, there is Ashtakshara Mahamantra, "NARAYANA". Even Lord Narayana was not satisfied with the Acharyans He got in Rama and Krishna avatara, which made Him to identify Manavalamamunigal as more pure Acharyan. When we consider lot of scriptures in our sampradayam, we have lot of things, which are just slokas. But Mantras are the one which form the juice. For example: NARAYANA is the Mahamantra which contains all the vedas in it. I hope this might be an answer, but more scholarly people may be able to help with precise answere. Please correct me if you find any mistake.
