Guest guest
Srimad Venkata Lakshmana Yativaraya Namah. Dear Bhagavatas, I am Vinjamuri Srimahavishnu. My Acharya is Srimat Paramahamsa Thiruvengada Ramanuja Pedda Jeeyar Swamivaru of Tirupati. Swami is doing nitya kainkaryam to Lord Govindaraja every day at the age of 88. We all should pray to Sri and Sriyahpati to enable swami to bless us through His kainkaryams to Govindaraja Perumal for many more decades. In tulA mAsa brahmotsavams broadcast in TV, we have noted one wonderful thing. Swami while he himslef was not able to walk well, was lending support to a Bhagavatottama who appeared to be older than swami. That is the spirit of Bhagavata Seshatvam. coming back to my intro, I am 26 and am working in Chennai.I am residing in Triplicane. I am basically from Pentapadu, W.G. Dist, Andhra. Many Srvaishnava Acharya Purusha families migrated to Andhra with the whole and sole purpose of propagating Ramanuja Darsana, unlike our migrating to several places inside and outside india for jobs. I hail from one such Thiruvamsams (Vinjamuri) (janitvAham vamSE.... adhOdhah pApAtmA..). My mother hails from Eeyunni family of vadagalai sampradaya. Srivaishnavas in AP have a very good habit in my opinion. we introduce ourselves only as Srivaishnavas. when the other person does not know properly who Sriavaishnavas are, then only we will tell him it is a sect of brahmins. I thank Sriman Tthirumalai Anandanpillai Srinivasa Varadhan for introducing me to a great Acharya like Prof. Sriman Rangacharya swami of Triplicane.
