I am thankful to the moderators for having included

me in this list.Here is my brief introduction

 

NAME: Venkat Sundararajan Iyengar

 

AGE: 29 years

 

NATIVE PLACE: Sri Villiputtur

 

FATHER : S.R.Sundararajan Iyengar grandson of Sangeetha Vidwan

S.P.Srinivasa Iyengar and son of S.P.S Raman Iyengar

 

ACHARYAN : Sri Kovil Kandadai Appan Ramanujachariar Swamigal,Sriperumbudur

(we were svayamacharyas till 17th/18th century according to some

of my relatives)

 

My interest in our Sampradayam developed only after i came to do

my bachelor's degree at Srivilliputtur. I was born in Gujarat and i

spent all of my childhood there.I developed some interest mainly due

to my parents(esp my Late mother Smt Lakshmiammal) and my Father's cousin

brother SrI Samu Iyengar who is the seceratary and incharge of SrI

Manavala Manunigal Sannidhi Andal Thirukovil Srivilliputtur

 

It is only due to the blessings of my grandfather and forefathers

who have spent all their life serving the divya dampathis ( my

father's great grandfather was incharge of the Nachiyar kovil Temple

administration for a short period in the absence of the Vanamamalai Jeeyar

at srivilliputtur) and my acharyan that has resulted in the anugraham

showered on me by the Divya dampathis Andal and Rangamannar

 

I have developed a website on Srivilliputtur
