kainkariyam for our sampradayam.

 

This mail is for Temple upkeep and making sure service continues for

perumal. (Provide for Archaka, paricharaka, Food, Oil etc)

 

Thirunangur Area:

=================

There are 7 temples in the nAngUr area that come under one management

(thirunAngUr PB family are the trustees)

currently there are not enough archakas and parickaraks to

cover all 7 temples. In fact, 1 archaaka covers 3 temples,

and 1 paricaraka covers

2 temples in some temples there is no paricaraka.

 

To alleviate the situation, it is proposed to add 1 archaka

and 1 paricharaka to the arimEya viNNagaram

kudamAdum kUththan temple and maNimAda-k-kOvil

 

Our TA Varadhan has been visiting Thirunangur this last month

and has been working with the local authorities to ensure that all

the temples are taken care of in This area.

Others working towards this are Thirukoshtiyur Mathavan Swami,

Babu mama and the Local (Nangur) PBA Family.

 

Basic costs needed for this kainkariyam is Rs 5000 per month.

VEDICS can collect the money from US and send it to the appropriate

authorities in India.

 

We will have local Vedic contacts who will make sure the money is

spent for the causes being sent. Moreover these local Vedic contacts will

help visiting devotees with local needs while visiting this area.

 

There are a few of you who had suggested that they will help with this

service. Please reply so we can start this service.

 

Final negotioations with the local authorities in Nangur are still

underway, as to which temples will be covered and what exaclty will get

done. (last week of Feb there should be a final decesion)

 

Please reply if you are able to contribute Rs 5000 PM (for 1Yr Min)

to support 3 temples in Nangur (1 Archaka and 1 paricharaka)

 

If 60 of us take up projects like these, we can be sure that all the

sufferring dhivya Desams are all taken care of.

Dear BhAgavatOttamas,

 

AdiyEn would like to extend Sri Ravi's question

by asking if there is any plan for us as a

group to sponsor multiple divyadEsams? That is,

collect the funds in the US locally (perhaps

under the auspices of SVSS so that donations

can also be tax free for those that are interested),

and distribute a fixed amount to each divyadEsam.

We can do it under the Ramanuja Group. I know

of similar activities as a group by Srivaishnavas

in the middle east, etc.
