Guest guest
Dear SriVaishnavas Adiyen would like to add few of my little knowledge about the Kanninun SiruThambu Pasuram.. Main one is Acharya Bhakthi as explained by Sr.Mukundan and Sri.Mani. I want to add abou the "thiruttu " in the pAsuram in the pAsuram of "Nambinen pirar Nan porul thannay" Here Alwar talks about NanPorul Thiruttu, Normally we talks about nAn, enathu etc..where in we attach the achievements and other tings attach by us to ourselves and also We consider JeevAthmA as our property.. Porul means - normal achith, and nan Porul - Chith (JeevathmA) Pirar nanPorul - JeevAthma belongs to ParamAthma Our poorvAchariars consider this as a big thiruttu, the reason is Normally if teh stolen item is of less value or the place/person form which the item was stolen is very mean, then it can be condoned with, Here the item stolen (JeevAthma) is so valuable compared to normal achiths and worldly things and also look into the source from where we have stolen is Devadhi Rajan (Raja's Raja) and so on both accounts the theft can not be condoned simply.. Adiyen feel only way to get rid of this thiruttu is through Sranagaty at the Acharyan's feet. I wish to quote one more incidence from Madhura Kavi Alwar's life after Nammalwar.. Once in Madhurai there was a competetion amonf poets to find out the best piece of work. in that contest M.Alwar was there(dont know why ? and how) and Alwar was more worried about how we talk about some Poets in line with Sadagopan. Then M.Alwar wrote a small Olai one pasuram of ThiruVoimozhi "Kannan Kazhal inai nannum manam udayir...." and placed that in the one side of the sclae, where in the other side was totally filled with the verses of all the Poets.. You know the results...It was so tilted towards Alwar pAsuram.. and on seeing it the poets got bewildered and then individual poets wrote a praisy words towards Alwar, surprisingly all the poets wrote the same . Bear with me , I will post it the next part....
