Dear All SriVaishnavas

Adiyen would like to update few information about the Upanyasam we had last

week, due to sudden technical issues with Bridge we were unable to proceed with

the Upanyasam on the Bridge but however Adiyen wished to continue with the

Upanyasam as Swamy was ready at the other end, and also as you know getting

Swamy's time is very difficult, We have recorded the Upanyasam and will be

uploaded in the Website (www.radioramanuja.com) soon .

 

Also the Topic is not covered full (only Avathariky was covered ) and rest will continue soon.

 

Here are the few points from the Upanyasam

Sri.Embar Sadagobachariar Swamy has blessed us with his Upanyasam first of the

series on teh topic of Nammalwar and Thirumangai Alwar.

Swamy has explained about the need of Sriman Narayanan in the avatharam of

Alwars( amsams of His Ayuthangal and Nithyasoorys), also explained Nammalwar

Avatharam at ThiruPuliAlwar (especially that Tamarind tree metaphor to

JeevAthmA was great).

Then Swamy talked about Thirumangai Alwar's Avatharam and how Alwar existed in

previous Yuga/births and what was the blessing of Him on Alwar.

Swamy Also explained Alwar's Childhood days and about Thirumangai Mannan's history in lucid words .

1)Any info about Alwar's parents Name?

2) Why Alwar did not do any MangalAsAsanam to Dheva PerumAl?

when Alwar went to kachhy , he saw the whole area around the Dheva PerumAl

Sannidhy as a SalagrAmam and sure alwar did not want to step in to PerumAl's

ThirumEny...

3) How Alwar has the Vel? Did Sambandhar gifted it to Alwar?

No, Alwar had it from his birth and Sambandhar gave only Kazhal thandai..

4)Alwar's life span? 125 years, KumdhavAlly Nachaiar's span --less than Alwar

 

 

These are the queries which I ad it in mind, if you have amy more do post it, I

will get it cleared by Swamy...

Swamy has covered only Alwar's Vaibhavam and how Thirumangai Alwar sung Paasuram

in line with Nammalwar i yet to be covered, will post the date soon..

 

Adiyen feel, what Swamy was explaining about the Alwar is correct am not going

to see whether its scripted by any PoorvAcharyas or its only Hearsay? even its

hearsay am going to accept, as Swamy's family has been doing the Kaimkaryam at

Alwar's Sannidhi for decades(even centuries) so the information should be

correct and I am not qualified to question the hearsay...

 

 

Pl pass on your comments so that we can plan the next Upanyasam with His wish.
