Guest guest Posted June 25, 2002 Report Share Posted June 25, 2002 Dear Srivaishnavas Adiyen would like to mention about the importance of Today, Avani Moolam the day when our Peria Jeeyar had the Eedu Saarumurai at Thiruvarangam, as you all the story that , NamperumAl was so interested to hear the Eedu even when Nampillay was delivering the Upanyasam , as we know the event that PeriPerumAl came from His Bed to hear the Upanyasam but later pushed back to His Bed by "Thiruvilakku Pichan". Since He lost the oppurtunity that time He did not want to mis the bus , He ordered (niyamanam - Archaka mukEna) to Peria Jeeyar to start Eedu Kalakshebam at the Garuda Mandapam , on hearing this Manavala Mamuinigal was shocked and since our beloved Acharya was noted for his Naichiyam his feeling is composed well in " nAm yAr Peria Thirumandapam yAr NamperumAl thAmaga vemmai thanithazhaithu - nee Maran senthamil vedathin semporulai naaluminge enRu Evuvathe vAinthu" This really shows our Acharya's modesty and subsequently Mamunigal delivred for one year the Bhagavad Vishayam infront of all our PoorvAcharyas , Alwar and NamperumAl. I think if you imagine such situation , in front such great Ghosty and that too delivering Bhagavad vishayam means , Adiyen feels only Mamunigal could do it. This really shows our Acharya's involvement in Arulicheyal . As a "fitting finale" on sARumurai day NamperumAl came as a 5 year old Kid of a Archaka and delivered the "Srisailesa manthram" which is the best Bagumanam He could give to His Acharyan . Our great PB Annagrachariar swamy has written a wonderful article on SriSailesa Daya Pathram commentary and word wise meaning and comparison to the history of Vibhavam is wonderdul and its available in http://www.geethacharyan.org/mamuni1.htm .
