Dear devotees,

I missed something important in my previous post. I don't

want people to mistake my post. Whatever I wrote was based on my

almost "zero" understanding of our ThenAchArya sampradAyam.

 

I intentionally excluded SribhASyam in my post because I

have absolutely no idea whether EmperumAnAr had treated the topic

of "swargam/narakam" in SribhASyam. With this I will add couple of

points wrt "nirhEtuka krpa" and the "state of prapannAs".

 

1. It's HE who chooses us. Once HE chooses us all our karmas die. We

are assured of liberation from samsArA. It's HE who chose arjuna and

not the other way round. According to us,there were more qualified

people than arjuna but still perumAL chose only arjunA.

 

2. I was told that although EmperumAnAr didn't explicitly

used "prapatti" in SribhASyam,it's only with NammAzhwAr's

Tiruvoimozhi and prapatti as the "base" he wrote sribhASyam.

EmperumAnAr practised and preached "prapatti" only throughout his

life. Moreover for prapannAs there is no swargam/narakam. There is

only mOksham/liberation.

 

3. Once we hold onto the feet of Sri EmperumAnAr,we jIvAtmAs need not

worry about our punarjanmam,swargam/narakam,pApam/puNyam. That's the

guarantee/assurance given to EmperumAnAr by SriRanganAthA(as per

EmperumAnAr's wish to liberate the jIvAtmAs). EmperumAnAr's "Tiru

uLLam" is infinite and one can't describe it in words!
