Guest guest
Sri: Srimathe Ramanujaya nama: OM NAMO BHAGAVATE VASUDEVAYA Dear Moderator/bhAgavatAs, This is just a view from my side wrt opening the site to all and also "kalai" disputes. I kindly request all to go through and make an unbiased judgement and also from the viewpoint of knowledge(HE is satyam,jn~yAnam, anatam). Don't shy away from "kalai" disputes;instead try to find a solution. that should be the motto! (i)Many, incl. of VK's and TK's and other people from non-sv background, don't know their own sampradAyam(for that matter our own religion!). So this list should be open to all who want to learn "srivaishNava" sampradAyam. (ii)Should deal with Ramanuja's works and other pUrvAchAryAs works dating pre- and post- Ramanuja's period. (iii)Kalai differences(doctrinal)should be dealt, whoever is interested in knowing the same and also the existing facts, (based on historical records)for example "kanceepuram" case, should come to the lime light. Let us not forget that "devotees of VAsudEvA fear not any". Many people may not be aware of the historical evidence of the kancheepuram temple. So you have to educate people with the "right" facts and knowledge. I came to know that TVS is involved in some divya desa kainkaryams. You never know what's going to be the outcome of all these "external" help! Changing "what is already there" into "somethingelse" is like plagiarising someoneelse thesis and claiming it as one's own. Disputes exist even today because of this tresspass, dishonesty and the unreasoning of the mass/individual. Imagine how one would feel if one's own property is seized! I know so many people who say they are beyond kalai disputes. If I seize their family property, will they still say that they are beyond family values and they don't give a damn to what happens to their family?? It's easier to preach than to practise. No one is a "krSNA paramAtmA". PS:So from the technical/philosophical aspect and the historical evidence that "kalai" disputes should be encouraged not otherwise. (iv)As far following a sampradAyam,it should be left to the individual. After all God is an internal feeling. No one can force a person to follow "something" without the "grace" of antaryAmin! This is just a "free" expression/thought of mine. Since it's free expression one should remember that it may not be agreeable to all!
