Dear Moderator, Regarding polls for opening ‘Ramanuja groups’ wide open.

 

The page meant for polls is not opening. Hence this reference.

 

A welcome step; But mails projecting thoughts affecting the basic philosophy of

Visishtadhvaitham are not to be entertained. For instance, the status of ‘Sri”.

 

VK group desire to project ‘Sri’ as equal to Emperuman. TK group in no way wish

to undermine the status of Piratti. Emperuman does all according to her wish.

Still, as there can be ONLY ONE EASWARA THATHVAM there is no chance to afford

THAT status to Piratti. . This debate is going for a long time and there will be

no end to this. Two years ago an attempt was made and Sri Puttur swamy has given

a fitting rejoinder to that move The issue now lies dormant. It may take life

again at any time. If this kind of thought is propagated it will negate the

basic philosophy. Now, Piratti, later it may be some other Nithya Suri. The

whole philosophy will be a mockery. If VK School wants to maintain their stand

let it be propagated in their media and it is up to their followers to believe

it or not. At the same time our stand is to be explained to our people so that

they may not get misguided.

 

In respect of matters relating to opinion, Articles should not be a mere

wish.It should justify their stand with reference to accepted authorities and

that too should not contradict the views of Poorvacharys. VK school can hold

their opinion. We need not interfere in it. For instance, Nirhetguka krubai/

sahethuka krubai. We give respect to Arulicheyal. In fact, Vaishnavam is

in existence from time immemorial. But, Sri Vaishanvam has its genisis on

Arulicheyals which inspired Sriman Natha Munikal to propagate it. It is

Acharyas, especially Poorvacharyas who explained to the world that these Tamil

songs are embedded in Vedic Philosophy and not mere songs of emotions The first

commentary by Thirukurugai piran pillan is very short and also contains many

sanskrit words. Lateron

Nampillai has done a wonderful job Though it is in Manipravalam, it is a

treasure to be protected. Whoever disagrees with this are unfortunate lot. In

this context let me state one incident. Sri. U.Ve. Swaminatha Iyer, Tamizh

Thatha, was approached by one of his patrons to write commentaries similar to

this for Saiva religion. Tamizh Thatha replied that those Vaishnavite Acharyas

are masters of both sanskrit and Tamizh whereas he was competent to do something

in Tamizh. If the request is insisted, he will consider committing suicide

(perhaps as a joke).

 

Divya desams. Please avoid articles relating to quarrels ( Smt. Vaidehi madam,

Pl excuse me.).Temples are places of worship.But,they carry lot of endowments,

power,prestige and means of livelihood.Any body, other than those with

missionary zeal, is tempted to enter into the seat of power. In my opinion this

is the hidden primary cause for the rivalry between TK and VK schools of

thoughts. Let us not open Pandora’s box.

 

Personal attacks or casting aspersions on Acharyas should not be encouraged.

 

Any article by any body for the promotion of Srivaishnavism supported by

admitted authority is welcome.

groups issue.

 

This group is meant for preaching the thoughts as per

the ramanuja siddhantam which if any of the schools of

srivaishnavism rejects or disapproves, strictly shall

not be allowed inside.

 

Though it is swamy manavaala maamunigals thiruvaakyam

that swamy emperumanaar said "aasai udaiyorkelaam

aariyar gaal koorum" it also means that nammudaya

ramanuja siddhanthathai ottri nadakka aasai udayorkku

ellaam.
