Guest guest
4 SRIMATHE RAMANUJAYA NAMAHA APPAN THIRUVADIGALE SARANAM Dear Baghavathas, Accept my pranam. This is in continuation of earlier posting. AVATHARA RAHASYAM ( 4 ) ( Knowledge on Avathara Rahasyam) Sloka 9 explains the result that is obtained on the knowledge of Avathara rahasyam. One who understands that My birth (Avathar) and My Deeds (Chestithams) as such do not take another birth. He reaches me after the end of that janama. The specialty is they are Divine (Divyam) Divine Janma: The Avathar (birth) is not on account of any past karma as in the case of jeevas. It is not a low birth made up of the three gunas( Sathva, Rajas, Thamas). He is the absolute Lord of all. He is the knower of all. His determination (sankalpa) is final and nothing will deter it. He has all virtues. He protects his devotees and grants their wishes. He removes all the obstacles in their way to reach Him. His birth (Avathar) is due to His determination (sankalpa) .. Let us enjoy the Sri suktis of Nampillai in Eedu. 1-.3(Pravesam) .. ‘ENNUDUYA JANMANGAL KARMAMADIYAKAVANRU ; ICHCHAIYADIYAKAVE IYIRUKKUM. NAAM PIRAVA NIRKACHEYTHE PIRAVAMAIYUM KIDAKKUM. THAZHZ NINRA NILAIYILE MENMAIYUM KIDAKKUM. APRAKRUTHA SAMSTHANATHAI ITHARA SAJAATHEEYAMAKKI VANDHU PIRAPPUTHOM . IVARRILE ONRAI ARINTHAVARKALUKKU PINNAI JANMAMILLAI” (My births are not due to Karma. They are due to my desires (Sankalpas). I take birth; yet, it is not birth (as in the case of Chethanas). My greatness remains in tact always even if the birth is in a low class. I take birth with Aprakrutha Thirumeni but appears to have the worldly body. Any one who knows any one of these facts does not take birth in the world again) Nammazhvar enjoyed this aspect in (‘ ETHIRAM ‘ TVM 1.3.1) AND ‘ PIRANDAVARUM’ (TVM 5.10.1). Our elders inform that he went in to trance for many months after enjoying the Divine deeds of Emperuman. ‘DIVYAM’ means that His glory cannnot be measured by any body including himself. ‘ Vedhamedham Purusham MAHANTHAM “ ( Purusha Suktam.) (I know Purusha’s greatness is immeasurable) ‘ Pitha puthrena pithruman yoniyonou “ ( Kadaka-3-9.55) (Father takes birth (Avathar) through one his sons for every birth.) Such is His greatness (Sou seelyam) ‘ AMAIVUDAI NARANAN MAYAYAI ARIBHAVAR YAROO!!” (TVM.1.3.3) (Who can understand the wonderful deeds of Sriman Narayanan?) Nampillai observes in Eedu for this Pasuram: ‘ IVANUDAIYA AVATHARA RAHASYAM ORUVARKKUM ARIYA NILAMALLLA . NITHYA SURIKAL PARATHVANUBHAVAM PANNUKAIYALE ARIYARKAL. SAMSARIKAL NAASTHIKARAKAIYALE ARIYARKAL . Brhamathikal thantham arivale ariya irukkirarkalakaiyale ariyaarkal. Mayarvara mathinalamarulaperravarkal mohithu kidapparkal. swatasarvgjnaumana Thanum ‘JANAM KARMA CHA ME DIVYAM’ Ennumakaiyale Oruvarkkum ariya Nialamalla” His Deeds are ‘APRAKRUTHAM’ Divine. Jeevans deeds are lowly, disgusting, causative for future births. Whereas His deeds are Divine, of high order, pleasant and food for thoughts, remover of bonds leading to rebirth. The bonds leading for future births of one who understands the Divine deeds are removed . Nammazhvar has enjoyed these divine deeds in TVM 5.10 in all ten pasurams and other pasurangals also. Koorathazhvar has enjoyed the deeds in Athimanushasthavam .53. ‘ DHOORTHAAYITHAM THAVAHI YATHKILA RASAGHOSHTYAM THATH KEERTHANAM PARAMAPAVANAMAMANATHI’ ( Gnanis Say that your involved acts with gopis in Rasa Leela will purify all) We may wonder as to how the acts of Lord Krishna such as stealing of butter etc., his involvement with gopis can be justified as divine. When He has taken avathar as a human being should he not behave as normal or respectable one so to set an example for others to follow. (1) His Avathar here in Krishnavatharam is to meet the requests of Yasodha and Rishis in earlier birth. They wanted to mingle with him and enjoy him. This is possible only through an Avathar. (2) Let us discuss a little bit to understand how his (base, from our view) deeds can be justified. Suppose we are living in a rented house surrounded by fruit yielding trees. If an outsider attempt to take away some fruits with out permission such an act is termed as theft. Why that much, if we also try to pluck some fruits without the knowledge of the house owner the same classification is applicable to us also. On the other hand the house owner has got a right to walk into his compound with out any permission and he can do, as he desires. No motive will be attributed to his action. OWNER ENJOYS HIS PROPERTY AS WISHES. If this simple rule holds good for an owner (in the worldly sense) Emperuman who is the owner of ALL can do as he wishes. He is perfectly right to do so to meet the requests of his dear devotees. His birth and actions are considered as Divine. One who understands these as such without any doubt or distortion will not undergo rebirth any more. He gets Moksha at the end of that janma itself. This knowledge is essential part ( anga ) of his upasana for Bhakti Nishta.. This knowledge is equally Important for prapannas as it is an essential condition for him to do service to Lord Who is worshipped in Archaavathar in the forms various Avathars.
