His vision/presence/teachings are a source of inspiration to us. I remember distinctly his talk about a couple of years back at a function in chennai .. He was talking about the need to preserve three things in the sampradAyam - 1. our LOrd, and the way we see the LORd - i.e. the divyadEsams 2. the pramANAs - scriptures, AchArya works and so on 3. learning/knowledge - everyone should learn about the sampradAya and support those who teach/learn. In fact, He was emphatic that "IT IS OUR DUTY TO PRESERVE THIS WEALTH AND PASS IT ON TO OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS". On many other occasions, his advice has been the clarifiying factor while encountering many confusions regarding these and other kainkaryams. In fact, the volunteers of the rAmAnuja list/VEDICS attempt to do projects that support the three things above - 1. DD efforts 2. many book publication efforts were supported, and will be supported; so is the same for proper translation efforts 3. the upanyAsams and tours that are organized. It is our fortune that we all happen to live during the era of srI srI srI chinna jIyar svAmi, who many of us believe is the current-day rAmAnuja/svAmi maNavALa mAmuni. adiyEn rAmAnuja dAsan, varadhan
