Dear Bhagavathas, Accept my pranam. This is in continuation of my earlier

posting.

 

 

 

 

 

# What is the way to get Moksha. ?

 

Sastras show the way. Gnana,Karma, Bhakti Yogas and Prapatti.

Prapatti is absolute surrender to Emperuman.

# Is this a Upaya?

Prapatti and saranagathi represents the same.

 

When this is done as a ritual it is known as Sangaprapatti.

But, Poorvacharyas of Srivaishnavam have held the view

That Emperuman , the master of all out of his boundless kindness takes action

for the redemption of the jeevas from Samsara. He is waiting for an opportunity

for the jeeva to take interest in him and the non-rejection (Aprethishetham) of

the efforts of Emperuman by the jeeva. He develops a desire in the jeeva and

nurtures it till the end. In fact He is the Upaya(means) and Upeya(result to be

obtained). He is the one who feels happy for the happy ending. No special action

is required.

The entire Thiruvaimozhi reflects this aspect.

Acharya Hirudhayam Sutra.211. Contains information’s as to which of the Pasuram

reflects Artha panchakam

 

It is the Nirhethuka krupai of Emperuman that we are having Thiruvaimozhi and

Azhvars Arulicheyals

 

The very first Pasuram says’”MAYARVARA MATHI NALAM ARULINAN.”

# Did Azhvar ask for it?

‘YANOTTI ENNUL IRUTHUVAM ENRILAN

THANOTTI VANDHU EN THANI NENCHAI VANCHITHU OONOTTI NINRU EN UYIRIL KALANDHU’

(I did not think of keeping him in me. He himself came, enticed my mind and

mixed with my soul of his own accord) TVM.1.7.7.)

 

MARUVI THOZHUM MANAME THANTHAYAI (TVM.2.7.7)

(You gave me the willingness to the mind to worship you

 

Did Azhvar has any qualification for this kindness?

POYEE KAIMAI CHOLLI PURAME PURAMME YADI

MEYYE PERROZHINTHEN’..(TVM.5.1.1.)

I acted and told lies as “Kaiyar chakkarathu en Karumanikkame”etc., but, I got

real grace from him.
