This is the observation of OUR famous Acharya ALAVANDHAR Sri Parasar Batter’s attitude has already been shown in the ‘Thanian made by him for Thiruvaimozhi” Nanjeeyar: An anecdote in Eedu under the pasuram TVM.6.1.4 is avilable.One of the sishya’s of Nanjeeyar made a question. What is the use of ‘saranagathi’ if Emperuman himself is the “upayam”? On hearing this Nanjeeyar got vexed and closed his ears. He commented “ I made a mistake by teaching this Rahasyam which is well guarded from Sriman Nathamuni onwards to this ignorant one who does not understand its greatness. I am sinner” Nanpillai is versatile scholar in Vedhantham and Bhagavat Vishyam. He spent his life in “kaleshepam’ of Bhavat vishyam .. Pillai Lokachariar is the author of Srivachana Bhooshanam which explicitly shows that Prapatti is not to be considered as Upayam and Emperuman only is the Upayam. Manvala mamunikal was advisedbyhisAcharyaThiruvaimozhipillai to learn SriBhashyam; but to spend his life in preaching Bhagavat Vishayam Adiyen hopes that this is enough to show our Poorvacharyas followed the way shown by their acharyas and Azhvars.
