Guest guest
Sri: Srimathe Ramanujaya nama: Dear Kalaivani, Here goes the letter of RukmiNi. It has direct relevance to prapatti/sEshatva. Once prapatti is done, one need no longer worry. It's His headache and responsibility to save the soul. Here RukmiNi does the same. She sends the letter through a brAhmaNa messenger(like an AchAryA)to the Lord. The Lord sees to it that RukmiNi is saved without Her "self-effort". PiLLAn paraphrases NammAzhwAr's decad "emmAvIdu" (TiruvAymozhi 2.9.8/2884) where he says: "if you say that there are obstacles to my realizing and reaching You,You Yourself graciously remove those obstacles just as You removed the obstacles preventing Your union with Mother Nappinnai/RukmiNi and Divine Mother Sita in AshOkavana. Take me to Your sacred feet immediately and make sure that i am inseparable from them as the lines on Your feet. If You don't save me(without further delay)I shall not live" In verse 42,the words "upAya and upEya" appear and i'm anot aware of any AchAryA's, belonging to Ramanuja sampradAyam, commentary on srimad bhAgavatam. There are differences between the caitanya philosophy and Ramanuja's philosophy! I will send the translation later(as per prabhupAda,a follower of caitanya).
