Guest guest
sau-bhAgyavati Sumitra Varadarajan, Pl accept my congratulations and gratitude for drawing attention to the Sanskrit biography of the revered ponn-aDik-kAl-jeeyar, entitled 'gagana-giri-muni-charitram' written by sundarArya (alias AttAn), great grandson of rAmAnuja-p-piLLAn. I request of you to inform me ~~ (i) if I can secure a copy of this Sanskrit work; what are the particulars of its last edition, year of printing, name and place of printing press AND of publisher etc. (ii) If the author was also known as AttAn, what was his gOtram ? Is he possibly the eponymic ancestor ('kUTastha') of the well-known AttAn-s of AzhvAr tiru-nagari who are of Sri-vatsa-gOtram ? There is also a Srirangam branch of AttAn-s which I know of. aDiyEn rAmAnuja-dAsan, T.S. Sundara Rajan at Srirangam.

Whichever branches of Attan's we find in azhvar thirunagari or Srirangam all belong to the same vamsam of Attan's only. As the days passed many branches have developed.
