Guest guest
Sri: Srimathe Ramanujaya Nama: Sri Pillai Lokacharya's Mumukshuppadi Sutra: 36. rakshikkaiyAvathu virOthiyaip pOkkukaiyum abEkshithaththaik kodukkaiyum. Meaning: The protection of the chetanas by Him is removing the obstacles in their way and giving them what they seek. Sri PBA Swami's Sarartha Deepikai: Earlier it was shown that akAram stands for Him who is the cause of all and the protector of all. Since rakshaNam is a very important characteristic, one has to understand what this protection entails. Protecting a person in this world means removing that which causes him trouble and providing him what he wants. That is, rakshagatvam means anishta nivarttagatvam and ishta prApagatvam. Removing the obstacles that cause grief and providing the abEkshithams which cause happiness is rakshagatvam.
