In the last mail we enjoyed the greatness of preaching Srivaishnavism to all by

Ramanuja and Manavala mamunikal.

Let us enjoy another greatness of Manavalamamunikal.

He is an expert in explaining difficult and sensitive issues eloquently without

hurting any body.

Let us enjoy the first two pasurams of Upadesaratinamalai.

not mine)

Here Manavalamamunikal classify the people into 3 categories.

Those who are learned scholars. They will be pleased to learn this.

Another set of people who are interested in learning. They would be glad and

feel fortunate to have this advice and will learn.

The rest, who are neither learned nor interested in learning, will not be happy.

On the other hand they have one quality. It is natural to them to be jealous of

his action. Not only that; but also they will decry his action. I will not be

affected by their malices.

It is their natural quality and they can do it well. It is no wonder (to me or

to any body)

He is giving credit to such people that they are expert in decrying. They can

now be happy over this statement.
