SAra sangraham

SrEmathe in the uthara vAkyam of dhvyam represents the kainkaryam is to be

done to the Lord and pirAtti together. This togetherness is emphasised here.

The sixth pathu contains the following pAsuram-s indicating this meaning.

"thirundhu vEdhamum vELviyum, thirumAmagaLirundhAm" thiru voi mozhi 6-5-8

Edu: ArAdhyaiyAna periya pirAttiyum thAnum.

The ultimate who are to be worshipped being SrE and the Lord. Thus togetherness

is mentioned here.

'sendhamizh pathum vallAr adimai seivAr thiru mAlukkE' thiru voi mozhi 6-5-11

srEvaishnavites will perform kainkaryam to thiru-mAl. thiru is pirAtti and mAl

is the Lord. Togetherness is indicated by the word 'thirumAl'. kainkaryam is

indicated by adimai.

Thus kainkaryam unto the Lord together with pirAtti is emphasised.
