Guest guest
Sri: Srimathe Ramanujaya nama: Dear saha bhAgavathAs, Accept my pranams. Thanks to Smt Sheela Belur and Sriman Lakshmi Narasimhan for responding to my queries on "upEyam". How SriRama is justified in killing vAli from behind a tree? I presume that some bhAgavathAs surely would have listened to upanyAsams by great stalwarts in Valmiki Ramayana. With the little mind He has gifted me,I used to think that even if SriRama had approached vAli for help, the latter would not have bothered(based on direct and indirect experiences). Quite recently I came across a book where in the author rightly justifies SriRama's action in killing vAli without violating "Dharma". I will post this later and kindly request other devotees to share the views offered by pUrvAchAryas. Please do not think that i am questioning SriRama's act! Since my childhood,He has always been my first love and will remain so even after I reach Him.
