Pursuant to the request for funds from temple authorities we had sent an appeal to about sixty friends/families. I'm pleased to inform you that forty people have come forward with contributions totalling about 2 lakhs of Rs. Few people have committed but have yet to send the check. However, we have included those funds and have delivered the entire amount to the Diwan of the temple. It is gratifying to see that so many asthikas in US are genuinely interested in Divya Desa Kainkaryam. Hope we will continue to do whatever little we can in all the Divya Desams as and when the need arises. Shanthi would be travelling to India in the first week of Feb. to attend the Samprokshanam. For those who would like to still contribute you may write the check to 'Shanthi Srinivasan' and mail to the address below. She will personally take it with her and hand over the temple. She'll also bring back receipts and samprokshana prasadham for everyone.
