Guest guest
Dear Members, Namskarams!! I am a Kiran, a young spritual aspirant. I have gone thru some of Manu's statement in his Dharmasastra "Let him ask a Brahmana, on meeting him, after (his health, with the word) kusala, a Kshatriya (with the word) anamaya, a Vaisya (with the word) kshema, and a Sudra (with the word) anarogya. " I find deep discrimination in his words. As Hinduism is a religion of Universal Love, There IS NO place for Bigotry. Can any one explain me the relevence of Manu's sastra to our religion? Looking forward to some education !! Kiran
Guest guest
Namaskarams, when we are willing to Introspect about tragedies like EarthQuake, shutttle crash, why should not we introspect why in some villages we still have separate wells for different communities and why still in some hotels there are separate glasses for each community. Why should we not introspect why we failed as a Society? Hindu Religion which preached Universal Love, Sarve Jana Sukhino Bhavanthu . why were we not able to live to the high ideals of Love which Hindu Dharma preaches? where did this discrimnination start? Is it manu? sorry If I sounded hard. But I am kind of disappointed with the silence of the members about the question I have posted before.
