Guest guest
Sri: Srimathe Ramanujaya nama: 1. "adhil sidDha Dharma vidhi;idhil vidhi anuShTAnangaL" - AH 193 TiruvAymozhiyil vidhiyum uNdu;anuShTAnamum uNdu: In Sri Gita, there is only an injunction/vidhi "mAm Ekam sharaNam vraja"; In TiruvAymozhi, vidhi is mentioned as "ThirunAraNan thAl kAlam peRac sindhithhu uymminO" - TVM 4.1.1 and also the anuShTAnam/execution that was observed: "pugal onRillA adiyEn un adikkIzh amarndhu pugundhEnE" - TVM 6.10.10 2. "'bhagavan,j~nAnavidhi,paNi vagai' enRu ivar(nammAzhvAr) angkIkAraththAlE, adhukku(Bhagavad Gita) uthkarSham(greatness or exaltation)" - AH 194 The Gita, for its greatness, necessitates the recommendation from NammAzhvAr: BudDha is also one of the incarnations of the Lord and it is mentioned in Srimad BhAgavatha mahA purANam. Although the Lord protected the shAsthram from the demons/asurAs(Lord had to tell a lie saying that vedas are not pramANas) taking incarnation as budDha and thus giving baudDha shAsthram(one of the systems of philosophy and it is anti-vedic) and also as Kapila muni and thus giving sAnkhya shAsthram, vaidhIkas did not approve those shAsthrAs as they were anti- vedic(that is the philosophy which does not recognize the existence and the Supremacy of Parabraman). Because NammAzhvAr,a parama vaidhIka(supreme vedic person) and an authority in scriptures, considered the Gita as pramANa and refered to (recommended) it in his prabandha: "paNdE paraman paNiththa paNivagaiyE kaNdEn kamala malarppAdham" - 10.4.9 Bhagavad Gita attained its greatness. Since NammAzhvAr has approved the Gita through his hymns/prabandha,the gita requires no other approval or recommendation from anyone else. Such is the greatness of NammAzhvAr and his speech/tiruvAkku which is nothing but "Truth, Truth,Truth". Sri Azhagiya MaNavALa PerumAL NAyanAr(who had digested all the five vyAkhyAnams/commentaries on TiruvAymozhi and thus an authority in defending NammAzhvAr & his thoughts) has clearly elucidated, without any ambiguity, the greatness and the glory of TiruvAymozhi over Bhagavad Gita through the sUthras 189-194 in his "AcArya Hrdhayam". PS: Seek forgiveness from devotees if I had, unintentionally, misinterpreted or misquoted anything in the process of desiring to understand "AcArya Hrdhayam".
