Guest guest
Srimate rAmAnujAya namah. Dear friends, Whether Nappinnai or nIlA has an explicit mention in the purANas, Alwars mention Her in their pASurams. The following is what I understood from my Acharya: At many places, Alwars say that Krishna defeated seven bulls to win Nappinnai as His consort. What does this convey? All efforts are on the part of the Lord to get the ChEtana. This is what we believe in our sampradAyam. God being the master of SrI conevys that He is compassionate and has concern for us. God being the master of bhU dEvI conveys that He is he master of the world where we are. God being the master of Nappinnai conveys that He is the master of all souls and He makes numerous efforts to deliver them. adiyen rAmanuja dAsan Vishnu Bangalore ______________________ Missed your favourite TV serial last night?
