Guest guest
srimatE rAmAnujAya nama: Dear rAmAnuja sambhandhis: It is with great sadness that I am writing this although I am not sure where and how to begin this.... Yesterday during a conversation, I was told by a non-shrivaishnava devotee of the Chicago Balaji temple that there has been a lot of politics and division among the - and I quote her - " Iyengnar groups of the Balaji temple...to the extent that one group of Iyengars are talking ill of other group and even saying that they will stop going to the temple ..." She added that she was surprised to see that people who she thought were great devotees have started talking ill of each other due to ego problems." unquote. I am totally unaware of any problems that may be in the Chicago temple and have no wish to start a discussion of that in this forum.. The only reason I am writing this here is make a humble appeal against such public display of greivances. My humble appeal to all the devotees involved - whatever differences you have please please please solve among yourselves and do not bring it to the outside world and make people talk ill of the greatest of all sampradAyAs - the rAmAnuja sampradAya..Let each one of us of the rAmAnuja kutumbam, atleast here in the USA, take an oath this chittirai tiruvAdhirai , that we will try our best to uphold the values of this greatest sampradAyam.
