dear bhAgavathAs,

 

On the joyous eve of our dear emperumAnAr's thirunakshattiram (in the

US), I wish to convey my best regards and best wishes. I pray

to the Lord and our dear emperumAnAr to make use of us in fulfilling

their desires.

 

The VEDICS course starts tomorrow (Tuesday, MAy 6th). The timing is

5:30 PM Pacific, 6:30 PM mountain, 7:30 PM central and 8:30 PM

Smt. Sheela BeLur and Sri Sridhar Srinivasan will be teaching the

first module. The slOkAs are

 

1. krishNa ashtakam

2. Hari Ashtakam,

3. Chatus slOki, and

4. rAmAnuja chatus slOki

 

I request every devotee in the US to take advantage of this

opportunity, and share in the joy of learning, reciting and

enjoying the stOtrAs in praise of our Lord and beloved

AchAryAs.

 

Being the first day of the course, and more importantly, being

rAmAnujA's thirunakshattiram, we invite everyone, whether

you have signed up for the course or not, to join us in the

class. Time permitting, at the end of the session, we can all

together chant the sARRumurai pAsurams of irAmAnusa nURRandhAdhi

(iruppidam vaikuntham vENkatam, inburra seelaththu irAmAnusaa,

angayal pAy vayal thennarangan) and rAmAnujA's vAzhi thirunAmam

together on the bridge.
