Dear All,

 

In all the messages that we get from this group, the first

alphabet "r" of Ramanuja is not appearing in capitals. On this

auspicious day of "Narthisayum Kondadum Nal", can it be corrected?

One of the reasons you may find that is because of the transliteration

scheme followed by the individual poster. I, for one, think that

the habit of capitalizing the first letter of a proper name is good

if we use English sentences. But, in cases where we are referring to

our AchAryAs, I would much rather use our transliteration convention,

where "r" is idayina ra and "R" is vallina ra.}
