In Illinois the eclipse begins at 8.05 PM CST May 15 (evening) and ends at 1.15 AM CST May 16, 2003. As per shastras, we may want to consume prasadams 9 hours (3 Yamams) before the start of Eclipse. After Moksham (Eclipse), Snanam (Bathing), Prasadam may be prepeared and taken. May 15th is also Sri.
