Dear Swamis

 

The Jeernodharanam renovation works of Sri Jagathrakshaka Perumal Temple is

nearing completion with the paramanugraham of Swami Emberumaanar.

 

The front Mahamandapam of Sri Perumal Sannithi was built out of clay and mud. We

came to know of this quite late, during the renovation work was in process.

Hence the dilapidated Front Mandam has to be built afresh. This shall be done

after Mahasamprokshanam.

 

The encroachments around the temple were cleared and a Madappalli was built new.

Electrification and water resources were done afresh. Hence the total renovation

work estimated has gone up to Rs 60 lakhs. But we have support till now of only

Rs 22 lakhs. I also need help for the Samprokshanam work.

 

The Mahasamprokshanam begins next Saturday. Since only a very short period is

left to do all these, I depend on your help to fulfill the needs.

 

All the vahanams have been made afresh including pallakku and simhasanam as they

were all broken and was in powder form.

 

Sri Sri Sri Thridhandi Siman Narayana Chinna Jeeyar Swami is schedule to arrive

at Thirukkodalur on June 7, 2003 around 3 pm IST, for the Mahasamprokshanam.

Swami is staying at Thirukkoodalur till June 11, 2003. Yagasalai, parayanams,

vidwath sadas etc shall take place in the mornings and evenings from June 7 -11,

2003

 

I shall arrage to send the "pathrikai" of Samprokhanam thru mail tomorrow.

I am enclosing the budget for your perusal and kainkaryam.

 

I once again appeal to Swamis to help in the MAHASAMPROKSHANAM & RENOVATION

WORK.

 

The proceedings of Mahasamprokshanam shal be hosted on the web and the detailed

CD of the proceedings shall be sent to you after the Mahasamprokshanam is over.
