Dear saha bhAgavathAs,

Accept my pranAms. Whenever I think of beauty,ANdAL only

comes to my mind(no Mona Lisa or supermodels). ANdAL is incomparable

in madisAru(9 yards),ANdAL koNdai(par of the hair is knotted into a

bun shape) and that great wedding garland. She knew very well about

Her own charms and that's why She chose the Tall,Dark and Handsome

SriRanganTha. I am sure all SV females love to get married in ANdAL's

way.

 

We can talk,without getting tired physically,mentally and

spiritually,about ANdAL and Her Divine works anytime. I don't have

any status/background to talk about her works but I can talk about my

feelings for her. The best temple(I have seen 13 divya desams) I

enjoyed from all angles was the vENugOpal temple in Malleswaram,

Bangalore. I don't feel as if I'm entering a SV temple if there are

no shrines for Ramanuja,maNavALa mAmunigaL,ANdAL and AzhvArs. I spent

my childhood in Tiru AllikkENi so I don't remember much how much I

enjoyed as a small girl. But in Bangalore,I could enjoy that thAyAr

(Sri),ANdAL,vENugOpAl,Cakkaraththu AzhvAr, SriRama,rAmAnuja,maNavALa

mAmunigaL,AzhvArs wholeheartedly.

 

In that temple,ANdAL was always decorated nicely and it

was a feast to see her standing so beautifully in madisaru. I used to

go to that temple daily. Everyday I would walk to the temple and it's

a beautiful temple and I hated to come out of it and come back to

this stupid world! The bhattar in that temple was a gem of a person

and another bhAgavathA(70 yrs old and with 12 pattai tirumaN)would

come for sure on all SV occasions and I would see him less on other

days(may be our timings didn't match). I would go to that temple on

occasions just to see that bhAgavatha(more than the Lord) in 12

tirumaNs and listen to his chanting. If I don't see him on festive

days I don't feel good that day. He inspired me a lot to feel proud

of our tennAcArya sampradAyam. When it comes to bhagavad and

bhAgavath anubhavams,no words can suffice and justify our feelings.

Let ANdAL bless us all to do eternal service to emperumAnAr,his

darshanam(SV sampradAyam) and his possession(sri ranganATha/sriman

nArAyaNa).
