I am very much worried by the answer given by Varadan and also the questions posted by you. Please clarify whether you are done with your upanayanam Are you married or bramachari and also do you know who is your acharyan. Do you have a Saligramam or any vigraham for Thiruvaradhanam?. As far as I understand from the various discourse, Thiruvaradhanam can be performed only by those who have surrended to an acharyan and had samascharanam done? So please findout from your father who is your acharyan and when you go to India, you can have the samascharanam and then start thiruvaradhanam. You can instead recite daily Pallandu,Thiruppalliezhuchi and Thiruppavai in the morning if you have time and recite Vishnu Sahasranamam and Lakshmi ashtagam and Sudharsanashtagam in the evening. I think this will clarify your question. If I am wrong in my writing like this please excuse me.
