Guest guest
NARAYANA NARAYANA Dear readers, Please accept my humble pranams at your feet. I have a doubt. Please enlighten me, whether only Sri Vaishnavas are eligible for Samashrayanam, or any one can get it done. And one more question for which I have not been able to find a reply, why does akhilaanda koti brahmaanda naayaka Sriman Narayanan perform penance when he takes the avatar of Narasimhar and Srinivasar? (as Yoga Narasimhar and Yoga Srinivasar) Please throw light on these two topics and enlighten me. Adiyen Srinivasa Rajan. NARAYANA NARAYANA. Guest guest
Dear Bagavatha Brother, Humble pranams: Ans For u: 1. Samasrayanam can be done to any body. But Who is willing to get samasrayam must be a only devotee of Sriman Narayana . The most important thing here is the Acharya. He should Be a perfect person like Sir Ramanujacharya. Who are all willing to go to paramapadam can get panchasamskaram from a qualified acharya. after samasrayanam, the person who got samasrayanam must treat his Acaharya equal to Sriman Narayana. 2.Becas they r not doing for them they are doing penance and tapas for us only ,.Afterall we are HIS's lovable children pranams, Viveka Dasan. Guest guest
Dear Sri Srinivasa Rajan, Your question is not really valid, because is not born a SriVai:shnava, one becomes one through the sacrament of panchasamska:ram of sama:sra:yanam. It is the formal commitment to the psychological and emotional awakening to be under the complete care of Sri:man Na:ra:yana through the lotus feet of an a:cha:rya, and to live a purposeful life in service to Him and His world. Consequently, it has nothing to do with one's birth, caste, creed, or gender; it is only the interest in the heart and mind to be good and do good that matters. With regards to Sri: Yoganarasimha, I have not learnt the reason for his Yo:gic posture, but can only theorize, based on other things that I have learned, that His performance of Yo:ga is intended to serve as an example that the ancient wisdom of the Sa:stras are to followed by everyone. Consequently, to obtain or contain His Immense Energy for the purposes of using it to heal and protect His Devotees, He performs the appropriate tapas. I hope this helps. (as Yoga > > Narasimhar and Yoga Srinivasar) Dear Swami, Shriman Narayanan is not performing penance but is demonstrating the same to others. I've heard in a Kalakshepa that Lord Nrusimha is the one who taught(thus initiated) the three types of yoga margas namely a) Adhyathmika b) Athmika and c) Nasthika yogas to Manu, Dhakshinamurthy and someone else respectively. Learned scholars may throw further light on this. I apologize for my mistakes if any. Adiyen, Ramanuja Dasan
