Happy Thai Punarvasu to all

 

Today marks the 906 th anniversery of Swamy's (Emberumaanaar) arrival at

Tirunarayanapuram. To this date this utsavam is conducted very grandly by the

kainkarya paraas of Swamy's sannidhi in Melkote.

 

After early morning tirumanjanam Swamy is taken to tiru-Kalyani

where HE does His anushtanam. The procession is enacted as though HE is

coming to Melkote from Srirangam. Goshti is Stotra Ratnam and GadyaTrayam.

 

Then the kainkarya paraas at Vankipuram Matam offer all the sheer and vastrams,

and Swamy enters the main temple to get maryaadai from his child Sampath

Kumaran.

 

Swamy is dressed in white as HE wore the clothes of Sri Kurataazwan (Kuresa)

when HE left Srirangam.

 

Let's bring Swamy deeper into our hearts on this special day. Since it also is

the tirunakshatram of Swamy Embaar, wish you all a happy TN too.
