Signature Campaign to Save Tirumala

Hi Dear Friends,

 

This mail is regarding a signature campaign that I am conducting (as a part of

an organization) to voice dissent against the destruction of sacred and

historical structures in Tirumala. In the name of expanding the facilities for

devotees - the TTD is demolishing structures of historical and religious

importance - which include the maada veedhi (the steps on which the devotees

used to sit before the temple).., the thousand pillar mandapam adjoining it and

many of the ancient maths of great devotees of the Lord which are around the

temple..

 

While it is correct to provide new facilities to devotees - it should not be at

the cost of demolishing the heritage of the temple..

By August 1st - We are planning to collect 50 lakh signatures and hand over them

to TTD, CM of AP and other important dignatories. This is a peaceful mission and

has no political angle attached to it..

internet fraternity and ask them to send to their friends..

 

Its a divine cause and may God Bless U..

 

However there is no force in this campaign..Its left to your conscience..
