Thirunedundhandakam is something that every person interested in

Ramanuja sampradayam MUST know. Sri Parasara Bhattar had a special

affection for this prabhandham of thirumangai AzhvAr. His commentary

on the mai vaNNaN song is to this day used as a superlative example

of the wealth that our AchAryas have bequeathed us. It is said that

thirunedundhAndagam is just like thiruppavai - in that it also

contains the essential truths that are present in the upanishads.

 

SrI. bhoovarahachariar svAmi has done TRADITIONAL kAlakshEpam to his

sishyas in bangalore on thiruedundhandagam. This involves going

through svAmi periyavAccAn piLLai's commentary WORD BY WORD, and

explaining it such that everyone can understand. To give an example

of the depth of the material involved, the first pAsuram alone takes

around 6 hours of explanation.

 

The whole set is 15 CDS containing 119 MP3 tracks of about 90

minutes each (total of almos 180 hours of upanyasams). We have been
