In the second thiruvAymozhi, he adviced people living in this world to worship the all-supreme Lord. The samsAris in this earth, now, asked the AzhvAr - "You tell us repeatedly to worship the Lord with love; Will it be possible for a man without the two arms to climb and sit on an elephant? Similarly, is it possible for us samsAris, who are so unqualified and unworthy, to worship/surrender to such a Supreme Lord?". For that AzhvAr replies - "Does not that elephant sit down near the ground so that the man without two hands can climb it? Similarly if the Lord comes down to us, we can also worship/surrender to Him". It is possible to talk extensively about the LOrd's Supremeness (parathvam). But, it is very difficult and rare to talk about his simplicity (eLimai; His quality of being so simple to come down to us). Such a great/supreme person has come down so much! Isn't this something that one should talk about with tears flowing over his/her body, moving voice & melting hearts? (uLLelaam urugi kural thazhuththu ozhindhu, udambellaam kaNNa neer sOra). This greatness of the LOrd made the AzhvAr moved for a long time (6 months!).
