As the almighty lifted our earth from the submerged ocean (beneath our earth) it looks as if he lifed two (pirai)arcs & is possible only in spherical/elliptical shape in Geometry, Therefore Our Kaarimaaran wrote this passuram keeping in mind that earth is spherical in shape. ( he did not wrote it as "Kombu" to refer to hemisphere shape of earth from the ground as the word pirai is used , he saw how the boar lifted the earth like fork through 2 horns ) This way Our Beloved Kaarimaaran has preceded Galileo in referencing the shape of the Earth !!!
