Abbreviations used:

MNU - Mahanarayana Upanishad (Dravida pATha)

TS - Taittiriya samhita

TB - Taittiriya brAhmaNa

 

brahma metu mAm... :--> The trisuparna mantras starting from MNU 38th

anuvaka. No need to recite 'trisuparNam ayAchitam...' that follows

each mantras.

oM tad brahma... :-> MNU 68th anuvaka

tachchhaM yorAvR^iNimahe... :-> Usually occurs with the so called

pavamana suktam (TS 5.6.1 and TB 1.4.8). A "Om bhUr bhuva: suva:" is

inserted after TB 1.4.8.

 

:--> Satvic food; avoid red or green chillies

and use pepper for flavoring.
