Guest guest
srImathE rAmAnujAya namah dear devotees, of late, some questions have been raised as to whether it is common practice to discuss the nAlAyira divya prabhandha vyAkhyAnams during the anadhyayana timeframe. We asked a few scholars in India (srI vELukkudi krishNan svAmi and srI VP.Srinivasa Varadhan svAmi), and got the following response: (i) During the anadhyayana period, chating of the divya prabhandham, or to discussing/reading its vyAkhyAnams is normally not done. (ii) The following are exceptions to the above rule - during mArgazhi month, thiruppavai recitation & vyAkhyAnam anubhavam is usually done; during the adhyayana utsavam, per the practice of the temple where one is, the divya prabhandham recitation is done. in thirumala alone, thiru-p-paLLi ezhuchchi is recited during the month of mArghazhi every day, along with thiru-p-pAvai. irAmAnusan adiyArgaL, VEDICS volunteers
Guest guest
SrI: Adiyen noted that some vyAkhyanams on Peria thirumozhi , Thiruvaimozhi etc. are being posted on the web site in Ramanuja group and other groups by some of the noted scholars. Per below posting, reading of such vyAkhyanams is also prohibited during this period. If this is so, how these are posted on the web site? Adiyen may please be excused as adiyen is not very familiar with this. Adiyen requests Swamin for clarification and to clear the doubt.
